  1. Iowa Fire Protection System Installers Bond

    IowaFire protection system installers have new regulations to abide by in the state of Iowa. The new law which is titled HB 2646 requires fire sprinkler installers and maintenance staff to be licensed and attain public liability insurance and a surety bond in an amount that the Department of Public Safety will establish. Termination notification must be issued 15 days prior to the effective date for surety bonds and insurance policies. HB 2646 was introduced March 14th, 2009.
