Michigan State introduced a new law relating to the issuance of assorted motor vehicle park permits. The new law is named SB 1057 and provides for the issuance of various motor vehicle park permits for Michigan’s state parks. SB 1057 authorizes the Department of Natural Resources to designate individuals in the State to sell the permits. Now a surety bond is mandatory as a condition of the designation if the individual is not a Department member of staff. The Department will establish the quantity required.
