Georgia Immigration Assistance Providers Bond

GeorgiaOn January 31st, 2008 a new Georgia state law was introduced related to immigration assistance providers. The new law named HB 1055, demands that immigration assistance providers are to be licensed and must post a surety bond in the amount of $5,000. The Secretary of State must endorse the bond form, and the bonding company issuing it must be a state licensed surety. HB 1055 was enacted on May 14th, 2008.
