Description: ARC Bonds are required by the Airline Reporting Commission to guarantee
Current Market: Most bonding companies are not willing to write ARC Bonds without collateral. However, there are some markets that are willing
to write them with no collateral required for principals who qualify. Rates are typically higher than most commercial bonds, as the claim ratio is
high in comparison to other bond types; good rates are still available within standard markets.
Special Programs: Currently, our agency does not have any programs specifically for ARC Bonds. There are no plans to create such a program, as
they are not common enough for our carriers to justify one. Fortunately, our agency is appointed with numerous bonding companies that still have an
appetite for ARC Bonds, so a specialty bulk program is not needed at this time.
